Energy and Environmental Materials (E2M) Laboratory – Institut Teknologi Bandung
The Energy and Environmental Materials (E2M) Laboratory at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) is pleased to announce a prestigious scholarship opportunity for prospective and current Master’s (S2) and Doctoral (S3) students for the 2026 academic year. We are seeking highly motivated candidates with a strong background in science and engineering to join our cutting-edge research initiatives.
Research Focus Areas
Selected candidates will engage in high-impact research involving:
Advanced Materials Development: Synthesis and application of Quantum Dots, Perovskites, and other nanomaterials for Solar Cells, Catalysis, and Biomedical applications.
Computational Material Science: Theoretical studies and simulations of advanced material properties.
Materials Informatics: Integration of Machine Learning and Data Science in material discovery and optimization.
Candidate Qualifications
To be eligible for this program, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Academic Background: Hold a Bachelor’s (S1) or Master’s (S2) degree in Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Materials Science, or other closely related fields from an accredited program.
Academic Excellence: A minimum GPA (IPK) of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale.
Enrollment Status: Currently applied to or accepted as a graduate student (S2/S3) at ITB, specifically within the Physics or Nanotechnology study programs.
Scholarship Benefits
Successful awardees will receive comprehensive support, including:

International Opportunities: Eligibility for overseas research collaborations and internships.
Note for External Scholars:
This opportunity is also open to current LPDP awardees or recipients of other scholarships, with funding schemes adjusted accordingly.
Candidates already admitted to ITB who have not yet secured a research supervisor are strongly encouraged to apply.
